Red Hot Chili Peppers Rilis Album Cover Version

Dalam rangka merayakan pencapaian prestasinya di Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Red Hot Chili Peppers akan merilis album digital EP cover version We Salute You pada tanggal 1 Mei nanti. Lima lagu dari EP ini belum pernah diproduksi secara digital dan tiga diantaranya merupakan penampilan live mereka yang direkam selama Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass),Anthony Kiedis (vokal), Chad Smith (drum), Josh Klinghoffer (gitar) menjalani tur promo album terakhir I’m With You.

Seperti yang dikutip dari Redhotchilipeppers.com (19/4), di EP yang dibagikan secara gratis di situs resmi mereka tersebut adalah aransemen ulang dari lagu-lagu sesama anggota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame lainnya seperti Dion and the Belmonts, Ramones, Iggy and the Stooges, Neil Young, The Beach Boys, dan David Bowie.   

Musim panas nanti Red Hot Chili Peppers juga dijadwalkan konser dalam tiga pertunjukkan. Diantaranya di Knebworth Park, Inggris (23 Juni), Stadium Of Light, Inggris (24 Juni), dan Croke Park, Irlandia (26 Juni). <pohan/traxmagz
