Menurut Hollywoodreporter, sisa jasad Walker dikremasi sebelum dimakamkan. Seperti diketahui, bintang film Fast and Furious itu tewas dalam kecelakaan tunggal mobil Porsche Carrera GT di Rye Canyon Loop, Santa Clarita, California, pada 30 November 2013 waktu setempat. Mobil yang ditumpangi oleh Walker tersebut dikendarai oleh sahabatnya, Roger Rodas (38). Mobil itu menabrak sebuah pohon, menimbulkan ledakan, dan terbakar. Rodas juga tewas dalam kecelakaan tersebut.
Keluarga Walker, termasuk orangtuanya, Paul Walker Sr dan Cheryl Walker, beserta teman-teman dekat Walker hadir dalam upacara yang berjalan kira-kira 40 menit tersebut untuk mendoakan sang mendiang.
Sejumlah rekan main Walker dalam film Fast and Furious juga hadir dalam upacara pemakaman itu, seperti Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, dan Michelle Rodriguez.
"Today In a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead.... God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings," GIbson wrote. "For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment..... I guess you can't get all you ask for in life....
